What is "sonship" ? Why is it important and why is it a status to be desired? In this mini series consisting of two brief summary Pastor Michael shares some teaching from the scripture on the subject.

In this message Pastor Michael makes reference to the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers and the need for them and every individual to be vessels of ministry whilst observing the legacy and display of sonship exemplified by Jesus and his demonstration of sonship. To be a successful vessel of ministry we have to come to the knowledge of the son of God and the stature and the fulness of Christ .

How we see our environment and our relationship to it, is in part determined by the horizon that is around us. The things that are on our horizon has an influence but how deep and impactful is that on us as children of God? How do we prioritize and differentiate between the temporal environment and the eternal? Pastor Michael highlights a declaration from Paul to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4: 6-8 about our temporal and eternal horizons.   

Many people use the phrase enough is enough and for many it means they cannot take anymore. In this message Pastor Michael looks at this from a different angle and as such addresses the situation with those who wants more and does not wish to settle for less. In this message he addresses how there are people who gets into a cycle of being satisfied when God has more for them.  

There are many options that have been presented to us or we have been in positions where we are privileged to make but despite all that the decisions we make not all of them have an eternal consequences. As parliament recently made a decision to pass a bill on assisted suicide, in this message Pastor Michael focuses our attention on Deuteronomy 30:15-20 and reflect on why we should choose life. 

Whilst many have concluded by the privilege of their geographical and emotional status that they are safe. many are still looking for something else because they are not safe. In this message Pastor Michael focuses on Psalm 91:1-16 and references to other scripture to reveal how we could all have the ultimate Refuge. 

How should the child of God navigate the conundrum of suffering when he or she is living in accordance with God's word and is looking for respite that does not appear that often? If sufferings are associated with pain and we are exhorted to be righteous why do we suffer when in essence we are doing good? Will there be a deliverance eventually and when can it be expected?

This is part 5 of the series "I will be with you". Perhaps these are the most encouraging words that someone can say to us especially when there are concerns about an uncertain future. Being alone or dealing with fear and to know that you are not on your own can offer some assurance, however like many promises are only as good as the ones that is offering the promise. In this part of the series Pastor Michael looks closely at 2 Corinthians 4: 7-9 and touched on 17 and 18 in the context and assurance that although we are troubled, persecuted, perplexed God is still with us while we are going through these challenges. May you be blessed by this teaching.

In this message within the series, Pastor Michael focuses on how to be content with knowing that God is being with us and how by having him we are able to reflect on the promise that he will never leave us or forsake us.

In our covenant relationship with God we accept intellectually that God is with us by the Holy Spirit. However in the hardness and realities of our daily experiences whether in relationships, finances, discomfort, and despair; it becomes hard to reconcile what we know to be intellectually true and the experiences.. By referencing Isaiah 43:1-12, Pastor Michael shows us, that although what we feel is real for the child of God it does not a define our spiritual perspective
